Getting ready to go to my simple dormitory I asked her: “At what time do we wake up for meditation and what is the program of the day?” As she lifted her kind face she smiled sweetly and said: “There is no program, you do as I said and you remain inside your room all day and only go outside to your corridor when you need to walk. Don’t lift your eyes and don’t pay attention to anyone else. Keep your eyes to yourself. Just observe, no need to meditate”.

~ Beshara School, Chisholme House, ScotlandIt is a book about transformation. Our colours and histories can be removed. And removed they must be if we are to realise what we really are.
And so, it also becomes a book about an education towards what we already are, an education of change and transformation from one side, and the unfolding, uncovering of that essential and special beauty from the other.
